Optimum Pension House

The room stayed quiet and I could keep it fairly dark for sleeping, which I liked. The AC worked great, and the TV had good channel options. The shower worked well too, although the sink made it awkward to use. WiFi was great. Customer service was great as well: when my TV remote didn't work, a hotel worker tried over 10 remotes until finding one that did.

The location is superb, near the park, and the room was great for the price. AC worked very well, and there was a cabinet and table. The shower had both cold and hot water. People were parking right in front of the door, which didn't feel very welcoming, but the stay itself was peaceful and wonderful. If that's what you're after in Dumaguete, this is the place, 100%.

It's a small hotel, and the place felt very clean, fresh-smelling, safe, and peaceful. There are CCTV cameras on every floor, a fire extinguisher outside each room, and a fire exit. Our room was very small, but manageable for a stay of a few days. The comfort room was tiny too, though usable. It's quiet because the place isn't right by the road.

We booked a double room through their fb page for an affordable price and stayed two nights recently. The front desk area was tidy, the transaction went smoothly, and the room was ready as requested. The room was okay: decent space, a good bed, clean sheets, comforter, and towels, with working AC and TV. Under the bed, though, the floor was dusty and there was a plastic cover-like material from a faceshield. The bathroom was clean but small, and the shower head had discoloration that might have been rust. I also wish there were a bedroom mirror, since the only one was in the bathroom. The location was okay, quiet and not right beside the busy road. We came by motorcycle through a residential neighborhood, about 18-20 meters from the natl. road. We enjoyed the peaceful stay and would still recommend it. Just for info, they don't have a beanery or any beverages.
