I didn’t stay here, just came by this morning for the breakfast buffet, which cost 950₱. The service was fantastic, and I was genuinely looked after. But the buffet itself, as you can see in my photos, was lacklustre. There was dragon fruit, but the fruit selection was only okay, and the banana was a bit old. Weird. The breakfast cereals were really good, but there wasn’t any hot food, and the pastry choices were limited. It wasn’t giving. The feta was actually spread cheese, and there was no salad, olives, or chick peas. The kitchen did make me a salad when I asked, but there was no hot plate. There was an omelette menu, but I expected much more. I was disappointed, and there are better alternatives.

The modern approach to breakfast worked much better for me than the usual huge buffets with poorly prepared food. There was some nearby building noise, which should stop once construction is finished. Radisson Red Cebu has beautiful design and a fresh, modern feel, and the staff were professional, smiling, and eager to help throughout my stay. Thanks especially to Neilma and her team for the attentive service. Modern technology also added a lot to the experience. I’ve stayed at two similarly priced places in Cebu, and this is the only one I want to return to.

Dinner with my family was a great experience. Jason made booking the table easy, and Gerzon looked after us really well as our server. He and Jason knew the menu and helped with food recommendations. We had a lovely time, and this is definitely worth trying when you’re in Cebu.
