Bayview Park Hotel Manila

Our room was spacious and clean, and we felt safe during the stay. Food places are within walking distance, and the staff were friendly. The hotel is old but kept up well: the elevators, air conditioning, and toilets all worked fine. You can tell the staff are great as soon as you enter the lobby. The lobby scent could use some improvement.

I only checked in to see whether this hotel was as good as Networld Hotel, where I'm a regular guest. I hate making the comparison, but Networld did better. Both are 3-star hotels, yet this one doesn't even provide basics like bathrobes, which Networld offers. The power went out several times, and repeated calls to the front desk went unanswered. That's concerning, especially if there's an emergency. This was far below expectations and will be my first and last stay. I wouldn't recommend it, since I don't want anyone else dealing with the same inconvenience and embarrassment. Please improve the staff and overall service. Thanks for the disappointing experience.

Cozy, busy, and trendy, the hotel works for leisure as well as work events. I've been there several times for work, and the function rooms can handle groups both small and large. The breakfast is a simple mix of continental and Filipino options; lunch and dinner are alright, though service takes long enough that the food isn't piping hot by the time it arrives. The rooms have been updated while keeping that classy 80s feel. I like being able to switch the lighting from daylight to warm, depending on whether I'm working or relaxing.

The hotel could do better with its amenities. Our room 1006 had no warm water in the shower, and the shower space is small. If you're tall or big-boned, showering may be a challenge. The view is lovely, though, with Manila Bay and the sea, including yachts and boats. If you enjoy watching sunrise and sunset, you'll like it here.
