Macky's Hidden Inn

The staff were extremely polite and helpful. They gave me great trip suggestions and helped arrange my van. I really appreciated their excellent service, 5/5.

The quiet location was a real plus: right in the town centre, but set back from the main road, so it felt secure and peaceful. The room was clean and a decent size, with a standard double bed, a comfortable mattress, and good quality linen with lovely plump pillows. The bathroom was basic but did the job. The air conditioning was great, though it might sound noisy to some; it didn’t bother me. As a more mature traveller looking for a budget stay, I thought Macky’s was fantastic. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I’d recommend it.

The staff at Macky's Hidden Inn were courteous and accommodating, and breakfast was free, served around 6 AM. They usually ask guests in advance what they’d like. I stayed on my own in a clean room, and it was a good place to stay during my visit to Coron. There were a couple of understandable hiccups: I had to ask for the water connection to be switched on, so I learned to check that it’s working when I arrive. There was also a town-wide power outage, but it was fixed right away.

I really liked the fresh danggit at breakfast, which is free in the morning. The staff were nice and accommodating, and room service was prompt and tidy. There’s also a mini-mart for bottled water. If you’re island hopping in Coron and just need somewhere to rest at night, this small hotel has clean rooms and a decent bathroom. What more could you ask for?
