Getting hot water to make a baby bottle was infuriating. Twice a day, I had to call the desk and wait over an hour for it. The rooms also lacked a hair dryer, blankets beyond the sheets, and any way to heat water. My friend in another room had no shampoo or soap, although I did. There was only one roll of toilet paper. If a guest asks for toilet paper or a fresh towel, they need it right away. The floors were so sticky I had to wash my feet before bed. Thank goodness the sheets seemed to be the only clean thing. Between 5 and 8 pm, we couldn't get anywhere. The staff could only suggest the Grab app, but during rush hour no cars nearby would take the trip. We tried for two hours, got "no drivers available," then gave up. That night’s staff were incredibly unhelpful. The rest of the staff were lovely, if a bit slow. I used to work at a hotel, where we had cab and private car contacts and restaurant suggestions. Here, all we got was "use the Grab app, and walk around." It's near the conference hall and the University, but not a good location unless you're using public transit. Otherwise you're stuck every evening during rush hour. I've stayed in worse hotels, but the lack of facilities made this one pretty bad.
