We found food, convenience stores, and Robinsons Mall Manila close by, and the staff were easy to talk to and helpful. Sir Raymond the owner was especially friendly and respectful. Carnivale Inn Sailor's Haven in Malate is a clean, affordable spot that suits seafarers, local visitors, and international travelers. It’s a handy base for visa appointments, layovers, or seeing the city. The US Embassy, PRC, and seafarer processing offices are nearby, as are Rizal Park, Intramuros, and Manila Bay. Rooms are comfortable for short stays, and the place has a quiet, clean, relaxing feel without costing too much or giving up comfort. It’s within walking distance of seaman centers and key establishments, and works for local and foreign guests. Whether you’re handling seafarer documents, sightseeing, or just need a safe place to rest, I’d recommend it. I’ll be back and would tell friends about it.

The owner and staff were very accommodating, and the home-cooked meals were good. It’s a nice, affordable place whether you’re stopping briefly or staying longer. Carnivale Inn really felt like a home away from home. Can’t wait to return, thank you!

We were put in a small room beside the kitchen when my friend and I checked in. It was noisy, with people washing pots and chopping vegetables even at 3am, and neither of us could sleep.

Watch out. We paid for a night through Booking.com before arriving, but were told at the hotel to pay again in cash because the first payment supposedly hadn’t gone through. The charge came through the next day, and they’ve refused to refund us since. That’s dishonest and feels like being robbed. Shame on you!
