Oyo 790 Mango Inn

The place was ugly and dirty, and Agoda didn’t say the comfort room was shared. You can’t get a refund after booking. Don’t trust the photos, even the receptionist says not to go by them. This hotel feels bogus, like false advertising and a scam. Worst of the worst. Sorry, not sorry.

The location in malate was good, and the suite cost me 1400p. a night. The room was okay and the WiFi worked well. But the staff didn’t seem to care when I asked for help. I asked four times to get the TV fixed, since it only had two channels, and nothing happened. I had to ask three times for fresh towels, then ended up bringing them down myself.

The air conditioner seemed old and due for replacement, and the restroom started to smell awful if you stayed in it for long. The TV wasn’t in color either. The room didn’t match the picture they advertise. You get what you pay for, I guess. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I’d only consider their standard deluxe room if I were stuck looking for somewhere at the last minute after cheaper hotels or inns had been booked. There was no TV remote, so I couldn’t use the TV. My favorite towel, which cost me 1k, got discolored marks after I hung it on either the bathroom or room wall. I didn’t use their towel because it looked like it needed washing.
