RedDoorz Plus @ San Marcelino Malate

I was searching for a RedDoorz near Fairview and Surge and found this place. Of all the RedDoorz locations I've stayed at, this was the most disgusting. The room was cramped, with barely enough room to move, and the bathroom was tiny, with the shower and toilet together. They advertised a queen-size bed, but it was more like a double. The website and Booking.com photos seemed like false advertising. They looked like rooms at RedDoorz Santo Tomas, which were clean, spacious, and nice to look at, nothing like this one. The staff were helpful, but the internet was weak. As for the location, well, it's Malate.

For a comfortable staycation that won't cost much, this seems like a good option. It's simple, clean, and quiet, with malls, supermarkets, and transport easy to reach.

The price is great, though the room is small. I'm not sure what the other rooms are like. At least there's an elevator for luggage, and the staff are friendly.

The rooms felt cramped, with hardly any space to move or even hang clothes since there were no hangers. There were lots of insects, and the bathroom walls and ceiling had black marks and looked unclean. Even the rug seemed dirty, as if it wasn't replaced between guests. The pillows, fitted sheets, and blanket had yellow stains and black spots. Cats were allowed to poop inside the hotel, leaving the hallway smelling gross. I hope they improve the cleanliness.
