Bantigui Beach Resort

It’s a really natural, laid-back place to cool off in the summer, and I thought it was worth the price. The owner was nice and the staff polite, so we had an awesome stay. There’s Wi-Fi and phone signal too, if you need to get some work done.

It was handy to have a bistro restaurant here, since there aren’t many places to eat nearby. Our room was spacious, clean, and nice, and the place is pet-friendly.

The musty smell was so strong it set off my asthma, and the property seemed poorly maintained. Dogs and cats with ticks roam around freely, as I’ve seen mentioned in other reviews, which worries me especially for children because of rabies. The management didn’t seem to care when guests raised accommodation problems, including room air-conditioning that didn’t work properly. This place sucks. We’ll never stay here again, and I strongly advise people not to check in.

I only tried the restaurant. Since there are so few places to eat in town, I came here, but the food wasn’t good. It arrived hot and fresh, though it was dripping with oil. The French fries were all tiny, like the bits at the bottom of a packet. The calamari was okay, but the portion was surprisingly small for a seaside resort. The staff seemed friendly and helpful.
