Hale Manna Coastal Gardens

The resort lifeguards were legends. One took us swimming and helped us spot Sea turtles, which we really enjoyed. Our room was clean and tidy, and the shower worked fine, though I would have liked stronger pressure. The menu had good choices, and the food tasted great.

We were three families with young children and booked the barkada room, which worked perfectly for all of us. There’s plenty of space for kids to play, plus a pool and water activities. Breakfast was included in our booking, so that was all sorted. The toilet was broken, though, which was our main concern. Moal Boal is a good place to stay, but it’s around a 4-hour drive from the city, so I’d recommend arranging private transport. We’ve returned to Hale Manna several times over the years and always leave happy. The property really does feel like a house of good energy. There are lots of beautiful plants around the grounds, the rooms are spacious, the food is delicious, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. The pool has a lifeguard on duty. Breakfast comes with many of the rooms, and the portions are generous. If you ask, they’ll keep leftovers to serve with a later meal. You can also request a meal in a hut by the sea or beside the pool for an extra 10% service charge. The building near the pool has toilets and a shower with shampoo and body wash, which made cleaning up after pool time easier with lots of kids. We’re already looking forward to another visit.
