HK Beach Resort

The room was clean, and the family room worked for two adults and two kids. At P 4500, though, it felt pricey, especially since breakfast wasn't included. Free WiFi is available, but only a limited number of guests can connect successfully. We couldn't sit outside for fresh air because of the unpleasant trash and sewage smell. They should move the garbage disposal area farther from the guest rooms.

The restaurant restroom was clean and had running water. The service was average to good, and the food ranged from average to good too. I liked the shakes. Prices seemed okay, though there are other places with better food in the same range, so it depends on what you prefer. The beachfront looked less cared for than on our last visit. I'd go early, before it gets crowded, when the shore is still clear and the water looks clear.

The room itself was good, though the floor kept getting wet from the air conditioner and was hard to keep clean. Parking was also awkward. We were told not to park near our room, even though other vehicles had been allowed into that area and parked there. What really disappointed me was seeing the housekeeper throw a water bottle outside the room after we checked out. There could have been people outside, and it seemed completely unnecessary. Wet rags were hanging on the rooftop above us too. We thought it was raining until we saw them. I hope they find a better place to hang those or other things. I know they can do better.

We only came for breakfast by the beach and didn't stay here. The food was awful: nothing we ordered arrived, and my mango shake had bits of plastic blended into it. The staff were all rude. Don't go here.
