Sea Turtle House

The resort’s Agoda listing showed rooms with air conditioning and said all rooms included it. When guests found out the listing wasn’t truthful, the resort wouldn’t allow the booking to be cancelled. I was glad I could easily reverse the charge on my credit card.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, which we appreciated. The road to the resort is very narrow, bumpy, and one-way, so getting there can be difficult, especially in a larger vehicle. The beachfront view is nice, but getting into the swimming area means going down some steps. That may not suit young children or older guests, so it’s not really child-friendly. The food, especially the paluto service, felt pricey for the portion size and quality. If you’re on a budget, it’s worth planning meals ahead.

The people who work there, mostly family, really tried to help however they could. Thanks to them, I’ll miss the dogs and the place. Indy seems to be running everything, from cleaning and check-ins to cooking, and I felt sorry for her. The manageress didn’t seem interested in the place, only in her election 🤔 The area is lovely if you enjoy nature, dogs, and the countryside, and it’s easy to get around. My room was small, needed a proper clean and some attention, and the toilet didn’t work. The property’s beach area needs cleaning too. I found a lot of glass and plastic, and people seemed generally not to care about it. I was there over a weekend when White beach was very crowded, with garbage everywhere. The sea was so dirty I didn’t dare swim. It’s a pity, because if locals don’t look after nature and the beach, tourists won’t come. I’ve seen it now, and sadly won’t be going back 🥲

I really liked the quick walk to white beach and the beautiful snorkeling right in front of the resort. The restaurant food seemed a little pricey, so we often ate elsewhere. My partner and I had a great stay at Sea Turtle house. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the resort employees were so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting to connect with nature, slow down, snorkel, and relax away from crowds. Thanks again to the amazing staff!
