Bataan White Corals Beach Resort

Such a clean, cozy place, and the staff were really accommodating. We loved the ambiance, and it's pet friendly, so you can bring your furbaby along. Great experience, will definitely reco this place. XOXO ❤️

The mattresses are foam, which is one small drawback. Otherwise, White Corals was worth paying more than the neighboring, more budgetfriendly resort, which was crowded and noisy with lots of dogs. During our visit there were hardly any guests, so we had privacy at the swimming pool. The resort has beach access, our room was clean, and the food was good.

We stayed for three days and two nights. The room was okay, but the leaking kitchen faucet left the floor under the tiles wet. They put down several floor mats as a temporary fix, then offered to move us only on the night before checkout. We declined because packing and moving that late would have been too inconvenient. Our room was on the second floor, which felt like a third because the ground-floor rooms have lofts. There was no elevator, and we had to carry our belongings up from the waiting area ourselves. Staff only offered help when we were carrying the last item, an empty cooler. Our group had two seniors, four women, one man, one child, and an infant, so hauling everything upstairs was quite a challenge. The stay was adequate, but the overall experience could have been better.

The food was bland overall, and the kare-kare meat was tough while the vegetables were undercooked. The menu didn't give full details: our ebi tempura came with just four small shrimp and a pile of vegetable tempura. The sizzling sisig platter cost almost ₱350 but barely fed one person, with rice and an excessive amount of corn on the side. The restaurant was the worst part. The rooms were very basic too. The refrigerator was old, the television outdated, and the bedsheets smelled like they'd been stored in a cabinet for ages. Toddler high chairs were very dirty. Plain rice cost ₱55 a cup plus a 10% service fee, and renting a grill without charcoal cost ₱200. The owner openly scolded staff in front of guests, which looked like poor management. At night it was very noisy until 4am. The place feels misleading and overpriced, with scam advertising. Definitely not worth your money. Book somewhere else!
