Vibe Hotel Alabang

Room 507 was much bigger than we expected, and the large smart TV had Netflix, YouTube, and more. We had a small AC problem at first, but it was only the plug, and Eugene, I think that was his name, fixed it quickly. Breakfast served in bed was a lovely surprise for this kind of hotel. I believe the staff were Harlly and Lindsey, and they made it extra nice. When we arrived, security greeted us with smiles and helped with our luggage. At reception, I think one of the two kind, welcoming ladies was Michelle. We had a really great first stay at Vibe Hotel and will come back. Just know it’s in a lively local area with lots of street food and small shops. Some people may ask for money, including children, so keep some 20Peso handy if you can. They really appreciate it. For two people, the room had enough space and was clean and comfortable. This was my first stay at Vibe Hotel, and I was impressed with the value and service. I noticed the shampoo, body wash, and large towels hadn’t been replenished when I arrived, but Ace took care of it as soon as I contacted the staff. The food was tasty and very affordable, and I’m looking forward to trying more of the menu next time. I’d recommend it for couples, barkada, or solo travelers looking for a comfortable stay with good service.

The comfortable bed, proper comforter, large smart TV, and wall-mounted soap and shampoo were all nice surprises. The hotel is spacious and conveniently near ATC, Festival Mall, and Filinvest Tent. There are several parking spaces, though it could feel tight if you have something larger than a regular sedan. It’s fairly new, and some areas were still under construction, but that didn’t affect our stay. I still didn’t sleep well, partly for personal reasons and partly because the ₱1,000+ charge for stained sheets made me anxious. I found that fee expensive and unreasonable, especially since I haven’t encountered that policy at another hotel. It affected my experience. The stay was okay, but next time we’re in the area, I’ll probably choose somewhere else.

Breakfast was meant to run from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM, yet after waking at 8:00 and calling the front desk right away for room service, we waited three hours. The food arrived after 11:00, and when we checked in every hour, nobody could give us a clear time. That was frustrating and unacceptable. Checkout was poorly handled too. The attendant was already outside our room to inspect it, but after we turned in the keycard, the desk asked us to wait for confirmation. Other guests who handed theirs in later were cleared first. We only learned we were cleared after following up again. Dinner had already been a major problem: with only about three tables occupied, our sweet and sour fish, chicken fingers, and bagnet kare-kare took nearly two hours. A server accidentally spilled a complimentary drink on our table, and we let it go and moved to another table. When the food finally came, the fish was still raw and improperly cooked, a serious worry since my friend had recently been hospitalized with stomach problems and it could have caused food poisoning. We couldn’t face waiting longer for it to be cooked again. They didn’t charge us for the fish and offered complimentary chicken fingers as an apology. On arrival around 4:00 PM, the guard had told us parking was full, and the crowded location made things stressful. We enjoy staying at different hotels, but this was our worst service experience by far. Parking, dining, room service, and checkout all felt disorganized and badly managed. We wouldn’t recommend it to anyone wanting an easy, relaxing stay.
