The AC worked well, but that was about the only upside. We couldn't lock the door from outside, so we had to carry our belongings around with us. The toilet had no seat or toilet paper, and the TV only got scrambled channels through an antenna. At checkout, the hotel said we still owed money even though we'd booked through hotels.com and paid in advance. We argued with the guy and said we'd head to the beach, then come back to settle the payment dispute. We never went back. The place was about as cheap as it gets.

The reception guy was great and really approachable, thanks anyway. The room itself wasn't up to scratch, though. I was disappointed with the toilet and the bed.

The oyo hotel is a scam. They accepted payment, but aren't connected to the pod drogon hotel. Ma karam kau nyan.

The pool wasn't clean, and the place needs refurbishment, especially the toilet and shower.
