This tucked-away cove has so much promise, but people focused on profit seem to be ruining it. The metered CRs and water shortage are almost laughable, and the makeshift cottages look like a fire hazard. There’s little proper zoning or planning. I hope someone from the government of Nasugbu steps in before this charming cove suffers irreparable damage.

I had a really enjoyable stay at Calayo Beach Resort. The rooms are cozy, the staff are friendly, and the sea views are stunning. It’s a great fit for beach lovers, with clear water for swimming and room to relax. I’d highly recommend it for a getaway, you won’t regret it!

The water was clean, though the sand isn’t white. The room felt quite pricey for its size, but breakfast at Sabella Shed was included. Parking is a distance from the beach, but Sabella Shed provided a van transfer, which worked fine. The staff were nice and helpful.

Phone reception is weak to nonexistent, so you may need to find a good spot along the beach to get signal. The beach is 50-100 meters away, and the walk there is a relaxing part of the stay. Each cottage has its own CR. There’s also a function hall, pool, grilling area or dirty kitchen, kitchen, and a small parking area. It’s a perfect weekend getaway if you want peace and quiet. Be sure to read the rules and instructions posted in each room.
