Club Punta Fuego

We brought our family and some visitors and had a great trip. The rooms were clean and fairly spacious, with room for big families, and the location was convenient and close to Manila. It's also friendly for seniors and people with disabilities. One room had a water issue, but staff fixed it promptly.

We've been coming to Club Punta Fuego almost twice a year for the past few years, and it remains a favorite family retreat. It's peaceful and feels exclusive, away from the usual noise and crowds, so parents can really unwind. The rooms are reliably clean and well maintained, and the warm, accommodating staff are always ready to help. The drive takes only a few hours from home, which makes spontaneous weekend trips easy. We often arrive before check-in, and being able to use the Beach Club right away is a big plus. The kids can start at the pool or beach, which gets the stay off to a great start. It hasn't lost its charm, and we look forward to going back.

It's a great property, but the facilities need more attention to cleanliness and maintenance. We had a good time, and the staff were very accommodating. Special thanks to Jonathan, Erick, and Alberto at the restaurants, and to Anthony, who looked after us during our day at the beach.

We stayed at Club Punta Fuego from Dec 31, 2025 to Jan 2, 2026. The reservation went smoothly, but after arrival this became one of our worst managed resort experiences. At around 4:40 PM on Dec 31, after check-in, we were told there was a New Year's Eve event costing ₱3,500 per person. We were tired from traveling and had a toddler, so we declined and just wanted a quiet dinner. Then we were told every restaurant and room service were closed unless we paid to attend. We were left with the choice of paying for the event or not eating. If we'd known before booking, we'd have stayed somewhere else. The front desk offered no alternative, not even room service, a limited menu, or another solution. They just said everything was closed. Wi-Fi didn't work at all during our stay. On Jan 1, restaurant service was extremely slow: despite the resort being fully booked, we waited nearly 30 minutes for the bill. It felt understaffed and poorly managed. The layout and construction also make the resort difficult to use in a wheelchair or with mobility issues, so it isn't suitable for PWD or elderly guests. For its price and branding, the facilities and service don't meet a four-star standard. This was our first and last stay at Club Punta Fuego.
