Phielle In-Home Calayo House Rental

We visited on May 30, 2025, during the rainy season. The place was okay and clean, and our group of about 50 rented three transient houses. The trip through nature and the mountains was relaxing, but after we arrived the vibe was underwhelming. The barangay was populated and noisy, with vehicles on the road putting out black smoke and lots of tourists packed into a cramped area. The main house had a large living room that could fit about 25 people, plus a very big CR that could fit three xD. The other two houses could maybe fit 8-10 each, though we managed to get everyone sleeping in them. The main house had a traditional build with bamboo and such, while the other two were more modern, with tiled floors and sliding doors. All three had refrigerators and aircons. The shoreline was very brown, like swimming in floodwater. There were floating things such as garbage and leaves, and we felt itchy after a quick swim. Boats were parked on the sand, so there was nowhere to lay down our picnic mat. Sea access was limited to 6am to 6pm, which was troublesome. The island hopping and cliff diving were middling. Different people quoted different prices, one saying 250 per head and another 320 per head. Later, we were asked for extra charges on top of everything, with conflicting explanations. We basically got scammed. I can't really recommend the place, though maybe it depends on who you talk to.
