Blue Lagoon Inn Extension

The location is handy, along the road just past the beach. The room was missing a lot of essentials and had only one outlet. Water pressure in the bathroom was very weak.

Breakfast was meant to be available at 7:30, but there still wasn’t any at almost 8:10, so we waited until 8:30. It was also extremely hot in the restaurant, and they wouldn’t even turn on the fan while we ate. Staff didn’t seem to take initiative. When we ordered, the head cook, "Nanay," said, "That takes a long time to cook, ma'am, we can only cook the easy ones." Her attitude was very rude. The other girl with a long chin didn’t speak when we asked her things, just made facial expressions, though she isn’t mute or deaf.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the beachfront spot has a great view over a lovely stretch of shore. The rooms are a bit odd, with low ceilings and some doors that stick, but it’s still not bad for an inn rather than a hotel. 😄

The staff were very nice and the price was good, but the room felt old and poorly maintained. We spent four nights in the Blue Lagoon area, including one night at Blue Lagoon Inn and Restaurant, then left because there was no reason to stay longer. We spent the other three nights at casa consuelo. It cost more, but was a much better place to sleep and stay.
