The spa is a must. Having a massage in that hand-carved room, with the jungle and sea in view and waves and tropical birds in the background, felt close to paradise. The room itself is an impressive piece of architecture and engineering, and I left feeling restored. Everywhere on NoaNoa Island, the care shows: the craftsmanship in the buildings and decor, the local ingredients in our meals, and even the fruit. We were given hand-woven beach bags to carry our things from our room to shore. Andy and Chelo made the stay especially warm. Thank you, Andy, for the stories and the guided swims through the reef, and Chelo for your smile. The snorkel gear was adjusted so it fit just right. From the moment we stepped off the boat onto the pier, we felt surrounded by beauty, calm, and thoughtful hospitality. I’ll always be grateful I got to visit.

We were three couples in our 60s, spending a week on NoaNoa island. We snorkeled every day for an hour to an hour and a half, and the owners, Andy and Che, guided us around the island and helped us explore while protecting the marine life. They even snorkeled with us and showed us the colorful reefs and corals. The grounds were full of beautiful plants and flowers and very well cared for. None of us got mosquito bites, which was amazing. We each had an hour of free massage every day, and there was always plenty to eat: three meals daily, with fresh sweet fruit, delicious dishes, and desserts. The manager, Boyet, and the staff were friendly and helpful in every way. We had a wonderful time. Thank you, Andy and Che, for an experience of a lifetime.

The reef is alive with marine life, and the care and hard work put into protecting it moved us. Snorkeling was excellent, though we’ve loved Raja Ampat too. NoaNoa won us over through the whole experience, not because its snorkeling was better. We left overwhelmed by how special the island felt, and we’ll definitely return. We stayed 12 nights in March, in the honeymoon suite. It was spacious, comfortable, spotless, and well equipped, with high-quality furniture and thoughtful little touches. The terrace view was breathtaking. The food was delicious, and there was plenty of it. Everyone we met at noanoa was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. It’s hard to explain the energy and love that have gone into noanoa and its surroundings, but you feel it everywhere. This has become our number one, with nowhere else coming close. We’d rate it 12 out of 10. Just go and enjoy yourself.

Snorkeling over NoaNoa’s protected reef felt like entering another world. The vibrant marine life was breathtaking, and the island’s lush greenery, clear water, and quiet setting looked like a postcard. The people made the stay just as special. Cheilo & Andy have created a haven, and their commitment to protecting the island’s natural beauty comes through in the details. Jules made everything run smoothly. Mel (Gibson- our insider), Wang, the cleaning team, the spa staff, and everyone working behind the scenes were caring and attentive. Their service and thoughtfulness made us feel at home, and we’ll remember them warmly. NoaNoa feels full of care for both its guests and the environment. We left grateful, with memories for a lifetime. Thank you for sharing this paradise with us. We can’t wait to return.

I was a bit uneasy about the surprise charges. With my welcome coconut juice, I was given a tab for another PHP30,000/$600 for things like service charge and VAT. I thought everything was paid already except the airport transfer and food, so be prepared for extra fees when you arrive. Meals are served at set times. I overslept on my third night, and by 9:30pm the dining hall was closed and dark. I was glad I’d brought snacks and bottled water, since there’s no room service. The bed was stiff, the sheets felt cheap, and the room and common areas were somewhat outdated. The staff were incredibly friendly, the dining hall food was something I loved, and the coral reef around the island was spectacular. Still, I didn’t enjoy the general vibe or concept much. It felt more like a bed and breakfast where I was a visitor of the owners than a guest at a private island resort. The stay was A-OK, but I probably wasn’t the target market. If you’re after a five-star private island resort experience, this may not be the place for you.
