Reggae Vibes De Isla Romblon - Hostel

The room was small, with mosquitoes and defective windows, and the Wi-Fi kept dropping. The place also seemed poorly maintained for what we paid. The photo the operator sent while we were asking about the stay was old and didn’t match the place as it looked when we arrived, so the current condition wasn’t made clear. We booked as a group a week ahead and stayed in touch with the operator before arrival, but the breakfast wasn’t what had been promised. There was just one CR for all the tourists, and its knob was broken. It’s far from town and, for the same price nearby, we could have found better service and accommodation. I wouldn’t recommend it.

We only spent a few afternoon hours here, but the owners were wonderful, welcoming, and clearly cared about the place. The views are lovely, and the hammocks gave us a nice spot to rest during the heat. It’s a backpacker kind of place, and there isn’t much nearby, which makes the area fairly quiet.

The beach is rocky, and swimming isn’t advised at low tide. Still, we had a really great time here. The rooms are beautiful, and the host was great.

Known as Rose Romblon place too, this is a peaceful, distinctive spot with a welcoming owner. The owner is an eco-leader and leads beach cleanups.
