The clear water and clean shoreline were the highlight for us, and the beach sunsets were lovely. Guests can also kayak for free, and the pool is there too, though it isn't very large. We wanted a secluded resort with a pool and white sand, with as few tourists as possible, and Antique Amor suited us. It’s a quiet, fairly small place on a hillside. We’d stayed somewhere similar before, and this one has its own advantages. We weren’t sure where the entrance was at first since Google Maps doesn’t show the exact way in. My video shows which gate to use. The bungalow cottages are roomy and clean, with utensils and kitchen appliances, so you can bring food and cook to save money. There are bowls, a knife, cutting board, stove, and wine glasses. Be careful with them, though, since damaged items incur a fee. I wasn’t keen on the odd carved face on the headboard wall. The staff were polite and helpful. The parking area could use work: the ground is soft and unpaved, which could make leaving difficult in rainy weather, and cars park haphazardly because the spaces aren’t properly marked. Even so, we thought this place was a gem and recommend it.

We only stopped here at first to take sunset photos. Somehow that turned into canceling our booking at another resort and staying here instead. It was a last-minute choice, and we ended up with great memories and an unforgettable time. The place is quiet and peaceful, with a clean pool and soft sand. The food was great, and it has modern comforts like hot water, air conditioning, a fridge, a large closet, and a front patio with a table and chairs where you can relax and listen to the waves. The staff were wonderful, available when needed while still giving us plenty of privacy. Such an amazing experience, thank you! 😊

The rooms are simple but attractive, with a Bali-like feel, and they were clean, tidy, and well kept. The food we tried was great too. Antique Amor may be smaller than some nearby places, but the setting and the stay made it worth the trip. We came from Iloilo by way of Aklan because I know that route better than the roads in Antique. Looking up the location beforehand, we saw the resort was on a hillside, but when we arrived we still weren’t sure we’d found the right gate. Once inside, it felt like a quiet little paradise. It’s a good place for a break from city noise, crowds, and pollution, and the view makes the journey worthwhile.
