This was our favorite of the six hotels we stayed at during three weeks in the Philippines. The hotel was incredible, and we couldn’t fault it. The staff were amazing during our three nights, with special thanks to Abi, Brian, and Raymond, who did everything they could for us. The rooms were beautiful and very clean, with fridges kept stocked. Pools were clean and lovely, and we snorkelled from the private beach area. There was plenty of choice and the food was great. Getting a tuktuk to Alona Beach was easy, and the shuttle ran often too. We’ll miss this place, it was the perfect end to our holiday.

The resort was so clean and nice, and felt really underrated. I was surprised there were so few people staying, it was almost like we had the place to ourselves. It’s near activity areas, and they offer island hopping right from the resort, so there’s no need to travel somewhere else for pickup. Just note that this isn’t a white sandy beach, which is expected since the island naturally has rocky shores. You can still kayak and snorkel there, and other places with white sand beaches are nearby.

I really liked the peaceful feel at Bluewater Panglao Beach Resort, and it wasn’t very crowded when we visited. There was a wedding going on, but things still felt calm. The rooms were my favorite, very aesthetic and with a bathtub that made them feel relaxing and luxurious. The pool was nice, though only about four feet deep, so I can see it being better suited to kids and families. I personally prefer a deeper pool. The beach wasn’t one of the nicer ones on Panglao Island. The staff, though, were welcoming and very accommodating. I’ve also been to Bluewater Maribago Beach Resort, which tends to be more crowded. Both branches have really good food, but neither location has a particularly great beach.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with lots of choice, very good quality, and delicious food. The property was large, clean, and beautifully designed, and everything seemed organized and well maintained. We had a very pleasant, relaxing stay and would recommend the hotel.

I’m so grateful I picked this incredible resort. The rooms are elegant, the blue pool is right outside, and the prices are great. It felt like there couldn’t be a better place in panglao. The staff were the kindest I’ve come across in my travels. I especially want to mention Via at the front desk, though I hope I’ve spelled her name correctly. Her guest service was stellar, and she made this my best stay ever. She deserves employee of the year! Extra love to all the kind, amazing staff for making everything better than I could have hoped.
