Bohol South Beach Hotel

The staff were nice, but this was absolutely not worth what we paid. The room was tiny and a complete disappointment, and things were broken everywhere: the faucet, the toilet, and the washroom smelled awful. The toilet did flush, but the water stopped halfway through a shower, so we had to go downstairs and ask them to bring us water. The food was disgusting. Our nachos, calamares, and pizza arrived cold, and the nachos were stale. We only slept there one night and left. The stay was horrendous, and we won’t return to this hotel or Bohol.

It’s a really quiet area, which we liked, and the staff were unbelievable. We had such a great time. I’ll always remember this hotel as the place where I fell in love with my fiance.

The beach and sandbar were lovely for photos and relaxed walks, though swimming wasn’t ideal during our visit because the tide was low and boats were docked along the shore. The pool was clean and well cared for. Staff were friendly and patient with all my questions and requests, and they handled things professionally. We rented motorbikes to explore, and used the convenient laundry service at ₱90 per kilo. Breakfast was good, with satisfying choices. Our stay was pleasant, and the place was clean and organized. Once, a broken bidet left water all over the bathroom while we were out. To their credit, the staff responded quickly and fixed it. I’d recommend this for a comfortable, affordable stay.

We spent a lot of time enjoying the sea view from our room, which was the best view we could have asked for, and the location was very good. The food was delicious, and the staff were amazing, always so nice and smiling. The rooms weren’t very up to date, but that was fine with us. Cleanliness is our first priority, and we found that here. We also took a private tour through the hotel. Our driver, Charlie, was super nice, and I’d recommend both the tour and him. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.
