Intoy's Place Panglao near Beach

The hostel staff were really friendly and helpful, and the dogs, Camila and Katy, are adorable. The common area worked well for getting things done, with strong wifi, lots of tables, and outlets for a laptop. There’s also a yoga space with some equipment, which I used for exercise. I spent almost three weeks in the four-bed men’s dorm. It wasn’t disruptive, and the AC and comfortable beds made for good sleep. It’s close enough to Alona for food and nightlife, while being far enough out to avoid its heavy traffic and prices nearby. Can’t recommend it enough!

I loved my stay at Intoy’s. It’s a decent, homey place for an affordable price, and Ms. Mitch and everyone on the compound were kind and accommodating. You get a bit of distance from Alona’s noise, but the beach is still less than a 40 pesos Maxim ride away. Breakfast is free, and if you’re on a budget, there are lots of carinderia nearby with meals for less than 60 pesos. I’ll definitely come back and recommend it to friends 😍😍

Intoy’s was a convenient choice while I was diving with Haka dive centre, since it’s so close. Breakfast is served at 7am, which was great before my dive started at 8am. The rooms were clean and nice, with comfortable beds and good air con. The host also arranged a rental scooter for us to explore the island. Great service and a great place, I’d recommend it.

The staff were really pleasant and helped us sort out a transfer, along with giving general advice. Our deluxe double bed private room was clean, though the fridge wasn’t. The AC cooled well but sometimes made a lot of noise. The shower pressure was the one serious problem, barely enough to shower.
