We had a really good stay. The location was nice and quiet, and within walking distance of the main room. Service was great too, they helped with everything we asked and replied quickly to our texts.

The balcony and the big tree above it were nice, and the staff were very friendly. But the rooms were extremely dirty, some more than others, and the kitchenware was so dirty we didn’t even want to touch it. The management didn’t seem serious, and the place feels like it has a lot of untapped potential. Although it’s technically beachfront, there are boats, trash, and seaweed, so there’s nowhere to relax. It’s not good for snorkeling either, there’s nothing to see and it’s very shallow for 200 meters out. The road is rocky, and there’s nothing nearby.

Rowela went out of her way to arrange transport and make our trip go smoothly. She’s an absolutely great host. It’s a cozy guest house right on the beach with everything you need, and incredible value for money. I’d recommend it to anyone.

It’s peaceful and away from all the craziness, which I loved. Rowela, the manager, and her mom Momma Rose were great. Rowela helped me arrange rides and get ferry tickets from Jagna to Camiguin, and communication was easy. At the end of the little road there’s a sari sari store owned by Robert, who rents motorbikes. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely stay again.

We felt like we were staying in a private home, right on the beach. The friendly host upgraded us to a room with a lounge area for free and helped with phone calls and scooter rental. There are cooking facilities and hammocks too. Mad Monkey Bar is around the corner for drinks, and there’s a guitar bar nearby, plus carinderia and other food. Alona Beach isn’t far if you have a scooter.
