Baymont Suites & Residences

Baymont Suites & Residences is handy for theater-goers visiting The Theatre at Solaire, around 1.5 kilometers away or a quick 5-8 minute drive. My stay was a good deal for the price, with competitive rates and a clean, spacious room. The location also made travel easy, since it’s just minutes from NAIA and close to MOA and the entertainment cities. The National Shrine of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Baclaran is within walking distance, and there are convenience stores and local eateries nearby. For the price and location, it’s one of the best deals in the Metro.

The staff were accommodating, and I was grateful they had one room left when we finally found this place. My husband and I had been searching until nearly midnight on New Year’s, after several hotels and condos took payment and then cancelled at the last minute. We were exhausted from traveling to Manila by plane since morning and stressed about finding somewhere to stay. Unfortunately, the room smelled bad, the bed wasn’t clean, and the toilet had a really strong stink. We used our own towels just to lie on the bed, and barely slept at all. That’s how we spent New Year’s Eve. I hope they improve the cleanliness.

The staff were nice, and there’s a convenience store beside the hotel, but the place looked very different in person than it did in the photos. We felt unsafe in the neighborhood too. I asked for a refund because we really didn’t like the room and it was so unlike the online pictures, but they said a refund wasn’t applicable because we paid through gcash. I hope they improve their service, but we definitely won’t return.

Really nice location, and the room was spacious and very clean. The bed was comfortable and there was AC. Thanks for everything.
