Reddoorz @ Manila Airport Hotel

For a budget hotel, this is fabulous value, especially if you have an awkward gap between flights and need a rest before an early departure. Being so close to the airport makes it hard to beat for that. Terminals 1 & 2 are walkable, and a taxi costs under 300 pesos. Booking online was straightforward. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, and reception is open 24/7. My 0400 departure was no problem. On arrival, I paid a 1000 pesos cash deposit and got it straight back when I returned the slip of paper with the Wi-Fi codes as I left. The rooms were spacious and clean, Wi-Fi worked well, and towels and toiletries were provided. The shower had a good amount of warm water. Outside in the courtyard, there are small restaurants and bars, plus a mini mart and a 24Hr coffee booth. Great service and value, and it does exactly what it says on the tin.

It’s a cheap, okay hotel near terminal 1. The Google Address is wrong, though. The hotel is at the OYO hotel address shown on Google, basically right next to the KFC. If a driver doesn’t know the hotel, ask for the shopping area near the KFC and take a cab there.

Cockroaches were all over my room, including in the toilet and on the beds. It was pretty unpleasant. The key also wouldn’t work unless the lock was inside, so I had to take all my things with me whenever I went out.

Nothing fancy, but decent for the price. The staff were phenomenal, and the location is really handy for NAIA Terminal 1.
