The food was probably the best part of our trip. The breakfast buffet had plenty of tasty choices, and dinner was fantastic. We also loved the rooftop sky deck’s bay views, a great spot to relax. From our room balcony we could see MOA and the small weekend fireworks display. My wife and I had a wonderful stay. The room was great, and the staff were polite and accommodating. We highly recommend this resort and can’t wait to return.

We loved the porridge and the range of choices at Lime resort Manila’s breakfast buffet, and the staff were very nice. Housekeeping did a good job, and I appreciated the daily drinking water. We stayed for a week, though, and ended up moving between three rooms. The safes in the last two didn’t work, and there was no hair dryer in those rooms. At night, the pool got chaotic with lots of little children. Construction at Manila Bay has spoiled the pool view for now. Maybe the view will come back once the reclamation work is finished.

We stayed at Lime Resort Manila for a friend’s birthday, and enjoyed the sunset over Manila Bay from the pool area. The view from up high was the highlight. We also got free popcorn and ice cream, and after contacting the hotel beforehand, received a birthday greeting and complimentary cake. The greeting wasn’t personalized, but it was still a nice gesture. Our modern room was comfortable, with a very comfortable bed and an iPad system for the TV, curtains, and lights. It would’ve been nice if the complimentary toiletries included lotion. The ground-floor restaurant had a great atmosphere, though the drinks weren’t very appealing. There was sometimes a slight unpleasant smell from the bay. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The elevator attendants, who were there from morning until about 9 PM, always greeted us with warm smiles. Their presence felt like an unusual use of staff and space, but they were lovely. There were some problems with upkeep: during the crowded Holy Week weekend, loose tiles and pebbles from the pool gutter had settled on the pool floor, making it uncomfortable to walk barefoot. None of the three pool showers worked. Breakfast could be better. The choices seemed aimed more at other Asian foreign guests, with few Filipino food options, which disappointed us. We enjoyed the stay and facilities overall, and are considering bringing our big family at the end of the year. The resort has potential as a relaxing place, but better maintenance would make a real difference. Fingers crossed things improve by then.

We stayed for one night because nearby hotels around Mall of Asia were booked when we made our reservation. Before heading to work, we arrived early and left our hand-carry luggage with the concierge. When we came back that afternoon to check in, the staff couldn’t find it. They spent almost 45 minutes checking CCTV footage before tracking it down. It had been mistakenly given to another room. There wasn’t an immediate apology, and they offered no compensation unless we asked. The supervisor could have handled the situation much better, given the stress and inconvenience. The elevator lines were long too, making it a hassle to get around the hotel. The breakfast buffet was decent but nothing special, and the room was average. You get what you pay for, but the experience was disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if safety and convenience matter to you.

The ground-floor buffet is handy, with plenty of food choices, though I wouldn’t say the options are necessarily good. The lobby on the third floor makes for a strange setup, and the place feels tucked away unless you already know the area. The room was adequate for up to two people. If you like being by the water, the scenery may appeal, but the view seems to be of the reclamation site in Pasay City, I’m not really sure.
