Okura Manila Hotel

Parking is shared with the rest of Newport, and it felt and looked a little dated. The hotel and service, though, were amazing, and I'm definitely going back and telling friends about the experience. I arrived without many expectations, but was excited to try the Hinoki bath tub in my room. The staff welcomed us warmly and guided us through check-in efficiently, with that signature Japanese hospitality. The room was impeccable, with clean, new-looking furniture and the beloved Japanese toilet. I loved the en-suite Hinoki bath, which made me forget for a moment that I was in Manila. Don't miss the breakfast buffet: high-quality choices included western, Filipino, continental, and Japanese food.

The airport view from our room was beautiful, and we didn't hear any noise. The building felt modern, with solid windows that did an incredible job keeping things quiet. The room was luxuriously large, and the bathroom was beautiful with modern electronics. The property is amazing and the service turned out to be excellent. At checkout, a courteous staff member gave our daughter a little Okura bear, which she loved. The timing was perfect because she was coming down with the sniffles. Highly recommend this hotel.

Ken helped me from check-in through checkout and was incredibly helpful, as were the other staff. The hotel was beautiful, far beyond what I expected: from the entrance lobby to the gorgeous bonsai trees on the way to the pool, then my room's view over the lobby, which looked like a Japanese village. A five-star experience from start to finish. I needed a hotel by NAIA, and this place across from Terminal 3 worked perfectly. The rooms were quiet and serene for a restful night before a long-haul flight, and there were decent food options. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I've had. The lunch buffet was a first for me: I chose raw meat and vegetables that were grilled and seasoned perfectly, and the unlimited sushi was amazing. I can't wait to stay at Hotel Okura again.

The hallway leading to the casino was so amazing it felt more like a museum than a hotel. Inside, our room was lavish and spacious, with a couch and a movable TV unit that was a smart touch. We were amazed by the toilet and its features, and the curtains and lighting were lovely and immaculate. The pool was warm at night, and the jacuzzi and sauna were perfect. We loved the service from the start to the end of our stay. Definitely coming back.
