RedDoorz @ Hotel Rosemarie

I’ve stayed at Hotel Rosemarie several times because it’s affordable and well located, but the way most staff treat guests has been consistently disappointing. At reception and in housekeeping, many seem to lack basic courtesy. Their tone comes across as rude and dismissive, and Hindi marunong gumalang ang karamihan sa kanila means most of them don’t know how to show respect. This has happened on several stays, so it doesn’t feel like a one-off. The security guards are the exception. They’re always polite, professional, and respectful, and they’re the only ones who make guests feel welcome. Management should take a serious look at customer service and guest handling training. Good rooms and location can’t make up for staff behavior that ruins the stay.

The room was spacious, clean, and good. Staff were accommodating, and service was alright. The location is accessible, though it can be a little hard to find.

Double room, Dec 8-9, 2025. The AC was really dirty, the shower heater didn’t work, and the plug was loose, so we couldn’t charge our devices. Worst.

They need to spray for roaches. They’re crawling around all over, even in the daytime, from tiny ones covering the wall to medium-sized ones that run really fast.
