Zen Rooms Edsa Taft Avenue

Being close to the airport is the one useful thing about this hotel. The room was worn down, with misshapen pillows and stained pillowcases and bed cover. There wasn't even a bedsheet. When we asked for one, staff treated a mattress cover as a sheet and wanted extra payment for bedding that should have been there. The bathroom was awful, and breakfast was barely edible, the sort of food you'd eat only in an extreme survival situation. The front desk service was the worst part. A woman I took to be a supervisor or marketing staff member was unhelpful and expressionless, and seemed not to understand her job. I can't recommend this place. Stay away.

It was our first booking at urban travelers hotel, and a terrible experience. The room was very old, smaller than expected, and didn't match the advertisement photo. The CR was dirty and stained, smelled bad, and had no blower. I also saw a cockroach walk past the table. The telephone in the room didn't work either.

We had a great New Year's Eve here, with a lovely view of all the fireworks. The staff were friendly, and there's a rooftop pool, plus billiards and a bar if you want to relax. It's a budget-friendly hotel with breakfast included. The location is handy for a vacation too, close to restaurants, groceries, and jeep and bus routes.

We chose it for the location near MOA and the LRT and MRT stations, which makes getting around by public transport easy. The standard room was worth the money and everything was okay, apart from the old TV. Please replace it with a smart TV!
