Antulang Beach Resort

The location was lovely, and from the restaurant we could see lots of turtles far below. That was pretty cool. We only came for a walk-in visit, thankfully, instead of staying overnight. They charged the full entrance fee even though there was still a lot of reconstruction going on. The food wasn’t very good, and some of what we ordered wasn’t available. I felt bad for customers who’d driven a long way only to find that out. The employee was okay, but they were burning leftover trees and the smell was awful.

The place needs a lot of maintenance, and the staff could use more guidance. Cleanliness was poor, and the food wasn’t acceptable, with items out of stock or unavailable. They still charged full entrance even though amenities were locked, including the CR with no water. No way! The waiter wasn’t responsible for that, though. Thanks for the experience, but I won’t come back.

We lost some valuables from our room during our stay, even though the door was locked. That left us feeling unsafe, despite the place being guarded. When we told the staff, they didn’t seem to take it seriously, and I had to keep asking for updates. It wasn’t about the price of the items or money, but about feeling that our things weren’t safe. Our happy time turned into disappointment and regret. The place was decent, but needed some maintenance, and the food choices and availability were limited. Happy moment to bad experience in no time. 😔

We’ve stayed at Antulang beach resort twice, in two different pool villa rooms, and it works well for couples or larger groups. It’s quiet and nice in Siaton, with a big pool in the middle. The resort is older, but well maintained. Pool villas 5 and 6 have hot tubs, though we couldn’t fill them. The food was good and portions were generous. Prices were a little high, as you’d expect at a resort. I’d recommend it.
