The Linden Suites

During my three months at Linden Suites in Manila, the staff were consistently helpful and quick to respond. The rooms stayed neat, clean, and comfortable, which made the long stay pleasant. I also appreciated how readily the team arranged rides to my office, making the daily routine easier. Arnold Pinili was especially kind and helpful. He assisted with pick-ups and drop-offs and took time to tell me more about Manila city. I’m grateful for the hospitality and would recommend Linden Suites to anyone visiting Manila.

The dim lighting throughout the hotel made it hard to get that “home away from home” feeling. The rooms are old and outdated, and while they did provide the king size bed I requested, there were only two pillows, one per person, and the quality wasn’t good. For a 4 star hotel, that felt limited. Bring your own pillow if you want a good sleep. Checkout also involved an extra step: they gave me a slip that I had to show security after checking out. At other hotels I’ve stayed in or visited, you just leave through the doors.

The indoor pool is heated, the view is great, and Megamall is within walking distance. There’s also a Lawson and 7/11 next door. My family had plenty of room, and they offer 1BR to 4BR units. Staff were friendly, and there was no extra charge for towels or linens.

For a birthday or other special occasion with friends, be aware they only let you bring one alcohol bottle. They may allow three more, but charge 500 pesos for every additional bottle. This was the worst hotel we’ve been to for a birthday celebration. You end up spending more without even getting drunk.
