Victoria Court Hillcrest - Pasig

The room looks fantastic, which makes what happened with the staff such a shame. At check-in, we saw snacks on the table and items in the mini fridge. I called admin to check what cost extra. They said the Lays and chips on the table were complimentary, while fridge items were charged. I double-checked twice more that the Lays were free and only the fridge items cost extra, and got the same answer each time. At checkout they charged us 525 pesos for the chips we'd been told were free. We were then told only the water was free, which no one had mentioned before. It was in the same fridge as the paid items, with no distinction, so I wouldn't trust that it was free either. The prices were ridiculous, and the whole thing felt like a scam. The jacuzzi area also felt unsafe. I slipped and hurt my back while walking carefully on the slick floor. There were no anti-slip mats, and the slight slope sent me sliding under the sink. We booked for two guests but were given only one towel. It's a real shame because the room itself is impressive, and everything else was minor. The staff's dishonesty left a bad taste in my mouth. We'd been considering booking another 12 hours, but after this we won't give them more business. Hope the extra 500 pesos was worth it.
