Reef Waters Resort has a beautiful pool looking out over the ocean, private beach access, and lovely sunset views. The rooms are roomy and thoughtfully equipped, and there’s a restaurant serving tasty food from breakfast through dinner. It’s a quiet, secluded place if you want to relax without leaving the property, or a good base for an authentic island escape. Getting there from Danao port is a straightforward boat ride, and it feels tucked away from the usual paths. Thanks for a lovely stay. I’ll be back!

We’d just returned home after five days at the resort before the typhoon, and hearing about it was devastating. During our stay it was peaceful, clean, and relaxing, with a stunning spot on Camotes, a private beach, and a swimming pool. The people there made a huge difference, and the new owners went out of their way to help us enjoy our time. We highly recommend it and hope to return.

That pool area and the beach were so peaceful, and we loved the facilities and room options too. My family and I stayed about six days. The bed was really comfortable, and the staff were fantastic, helpful, upbeat, and always around. We had a great time, definitely recommend.

We had a fun, relaxing time playing badminton and kayaking, and the resort was clean and well priced. The staff were warm and attentive throughout, and the food had delicious local and international options. It brought hospitality, activities, and downtime together really well. The turquoise water and coral reef were full of colourful sea life, and we enjoyed kayaking, snorkelling, scuba diving, and a full-body massage on the private beach. We also rented a scooter to explore Ponson, including the lagoon, the island view from Felipe’s peak, and secluded Panggangan Beach in Lanao. Back at the resort, the infinity pool is huge, the bed and bedding are extremely comfortable, and the views of the beach and nearby islands are stunning. Sunsets and the starry night sky were breathtaking. Alister and Bron are doing a great job with this eco-friendly resort. They and the staff, Elden, Mark, April, and Rino, made us feel at home from our ferry arrival on Ponson Island from Danao, Cebu, until we left. Alister picked us up from Cawit beach, Rino helped with our luggage, and Bron and chef Mark prepared a great gluten-free menu for my wife. Elden and April gave professional service every day. If you’re after a quiet little corner away from the beaten track, this hidden gem in the Camotes Islands is well worth a visit.
