Sir Nico Guesthouse and Resort

The staff were so warm and friendly, and they even picked me up at the airport when I flew into Manila. The resort is in a quiet neighborhood near Manila, with a huge, clean pool and a lovely palm garden. Every room has a balcony. The house is large and beautifully designed, and I liked all the details, from the floors and windows to the walls and curtains. Everything was extremely clean and organized. I’ve seen plenty of beautiful places, but this may be the most beautiful I’ve ever visited. I loved my stay and will definitely return. If you want to relax and have a great time, this is the place.

The rooms were the part I liked least. Each was clean and about 12 to 16 sq.meter, with an old 1HP split type aircon and a queen size bed. We were told the resort and rooms could hold 30 or 40 people, so I expected bigger rooms. When I asked the caretaker how that many would fit, she said they’d provide mattresses and we could work out how to fit everyone. Some of us ended up sleeping in the living room without airconditioning. Even so, I paid the P2,500.00 for the extra guests. Each room was said to fit a maximum of 4 people including mattresses. We rented the house for P17,500.00 for 15 pax. Each additional person cost P500.00 for a mattress, with no blanket or bedsheet. We were a group of 20, so I paid another P2,500.00. Videoke was listed at an extra P600.00, but we got it free because we started late. It could only be used until 10PM, possibly because of a City Ordinance, and we followed that. There was free WIFI as well. The house was clean but had no airconditioning. The kitchen had a stove, ref, microwave, oven, grills, utensils, and other items to use. Bring your own charcoal for the grills. No helper was available to attend to our needs. There was enough parking inside, so no worries there. The second floor restroom was clean, with a bathtub and hot/cold water. The pool wasn’t very big, just enough for around 10-15 people max. to SWIM, and was 4 to 6 feet deep with a lot of chlorine, as expected. I probably wouldn’t come back or recommend this place, especially for groups larger than 10.

A peaceful, pleasant spot for families or a group of friends. The management were friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. I’d highly recommend it.
