I expected a lot after seeing the 8.9 rating, so I booked 2 rooms, but the stay was disappointing. I was given a different room from what I paid for. The toilet was cramped, and its old seat had plastic sticking out underneath that would jab your thigh if you sat down. The food itself is good if you want Filo dishes, but they wouldn’t let me have the meal that way. They had me order from a separate menu, which cost more. The kitchen staff, especially the older women, were rude.

There’s room for kids to run around, and the owner is accommodating. The room price seemed fair, too. Just know it’s a little far from the beaches, and there was no hot water when I wanted a warm bath.

We spent 6 nights here and had a great time. The owner was lovely and helpful, and the staff were great as well. The food and atmosphere were both really good. For islands around Coron, Black Island and Dibutonay Island were especially beautiful. We’d recommend staying here.

Kings is a good spot for a night on Busuanga Island. The restaurant food is delicious, and the prices are affordable. I’d recommend it.
