Paseo Del Mar Dive Resort

I had a great time here. It's a wonderful, peaceful place, the staff are very kind, and the food was delicious. There's also a good gym across the road, if you like going to the gym.

Being right on the beach is the best part. Paseo Del Mar is a relaxed spot in Jagna, with a rustic, natural feel and friendly pets wandering around. The staff are so warm and helpful, they make you feel at home. Rates are very affordable, but you still get comfort and great service. A simple, cozy place to slow down by the sea, and great value for the money.

Our bungalow was tucked in a quiet corner, farthest from reception, and had a good-sized bathroom. The room itself was spacious and clean, though a little dated. There was no air conditioning, just a fan, so it felt warm. Pointing the fan at the bed kept us reasonably cool overnight. The bathroom wasn't new either, but everything worked as it should. Breakfast wasn't included, so to save time we ordered a vegetable omelette, a couple of slices of toast, and juice. It was fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced, and we ate on the outdoor veranda overlooking the sea. We booked a double bed with an en-suite bathroom in a bungalow. The resort doesn't have 24-hour reception, and check-in cuts off at 6 pm. We were delayed on our way there, but they contacted us to check whether we were still coming. After we let them know, they waited patiently, and there was no issue when we arrived and checked in. We chose it for its convenient location along our Bohol sightseeing route in September 2024.

Simple, but it has what you need, and the sea breeze keeps it fresh. I liked the wooden floors and the big doors opening onto the balcony. With the curtains moving in the breeze and the blue sea beyond, the view feels special. The sea-front terrace has a beautiful view, and it's great value. Friendly animals wander around, a nice touch for pet lovers, and even the towels had a pleasant, fresh smell. Thanks for hosting us.
