I noticed the roof wasn’t checked often enough for spider webs, and the table seemed poorly wiped or maintained. Oil residue had left marks that gathered dust. I also found an ant in my aglio e olio. It wasn’t a huge deal to me, but it does make me wonder whether the bar’s food handling could lead to complaints later. For the price and time spent waiting, I expected the dish to be better executed.

The staff were wonderful and helpful during our two-week stay. My wife and I had a really nice time, and I’d definitely come back when I visit family in Polomolok.

Guests who wanted to rest couldn’t sleep because partying was allowed outside the rooms, and the noise went on until morning. Things got worse when people started shouting and throwing objects to make noise during some kind of trouble. Please don’t allow this next time, out of respect for guests who’ve had a long drive from elsewhere.

We travelled from gensan to polomolok, then ended up standing around for almost an hour because the cottage had been double-booked. What a disaster 🤣. I hope the staff check first whether someone has already booked it.
