We were still satisfied with our stay, and the room was affordable with a free plated breakfast. It was a simple room for two, right on the beach and very easy to access. I hadn’t been told that the beachfront had become a dining area, though, so it was noisy all the time. I think it was the owner selling ihaw-ihaw and using the beachfront.
They overbooked and wouldn’t give us the room we’d booked. Instead, they suggested another hotel near the main road, far from the beach. The staff didn’t apologize or help us get there, just told us to go. We ended up booking somewhere else, which took a lot of extra effort. Poor customer service.
Buena Lynne's offers a full package for land and island tours, which makes it a good choice if you want the Puerto Galera experience. It was worth the money. The resort is right on the beach, with a relaxing view, and the rooms are spacious, secure, and spotless. The staff were extremely accommodating.
The resort owner came along on our tours and took some lovely photos of us. He was very hands-on about making sure guests had what they needed, so we could go home with wonderful memories. The staff were welcoming and friendly too. We had a great time visiting the beautiful places on land and the islands, all included in the resort’s package promo.
Poor Wi-Fi, an old-looking room, Shopee room lights, and weak water flow. Not a very good place to stay. You’d be better off somewhere else.
