Mao was the best instructor, and very patient with me since I'm not a good swimmer. He made our safety his top priority, so I felt safe with him. I signed up for the course because I wanted to face my fear of the deep, dark ocean. Now that I've earned my certificate, I'm proud I did it, and the ocean feels like a playground. If I could do it, you can too. Eva, who holds a record for Kazakhtan, guided me with my freediving course, even though she was sick for a few days. She still took my videos and pictures on my last day, which was awesome. She also arranged everything after I decided at the last minute to join, and her directions for getting from Manila to Puerto Galera helped a lot. Staying there made mornings easy: I could just open my room door and head off for a dive. I really recommend it. Thanks again, I'll be back for sure.

We worked remotely all week, so the reliable Wi-Fi was crucial, and it kept working even during power outages. The accommodation looked just like the pictures, and Mila was responsive and attentive. Our children got to study freediving with Aleksandr as their instructor. The bathrooms were very well kept, and the kitchen had everything we needed. It's close to the center but still quiet, with a charming feel, and the hosts were so welcoming. We loved this Airbnb and will definitely return when we visit Mindoro again.

The quiet was one of the best parts: our room was peaceful, with just the soft sound of waves against the shore. My room was spacious and a relaxing place to come back to after exploring underwater. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, the food was delicious, and the staff were friendly and went out of their way to help. There was a good mix of choices, from home-cooked Russian food like dumplings and porridge to Filipino dishes. I chose Freedive Inn in Mindoro because its dive center was connected to the hotel, which made it a convenient base for diving. The comfort here turned out to be much more than I expected.

I haven't visited the school yet, but I've consulted with them a lot about freediving. They're very kind, helpful and attentive, and also professional and patient. Hopefully I'll get to visit soon.

I haven't stayed at the accommodation, but I took the Wave 1 freediving class and it was amazing. Alex and Eva made it a pleasure to get introduced to this wonderful way of being underwater. I highly recommend their Molchanov education!
