Marco Vincent Dive Resort

The staff were amazing, always welcoming us with genuine smiles and responding to whatever we asked for. The hotel is also conveniently about a three-minute walk from the beach, restaurants, and bars, and it has potential. Our room, though, was small and old, with spider webs and mosquitoes. The bed looked neat but felt dusty and uncomfortable. Breakfast and dinner were basic, but edible.

Everyone on staff was really friendly, and I enjoyed being so close to White beach. We couldn't see the ocean from the property, though, so compare other places if an ocean view matters to you. The door also seemed poorly built and was difficult to close. I still enjoyed the stay.

We had an amazing time diving, and the staff at Marco Vincent were so kind and welcoming. They even went out of their way to help us after we had several airline delays. I'd highly recommend staying here.

I booked a stay and PADI Open Water Certification package at Marco Vincent Resort and Dive Center, and I'm so glad I chose it. The room was spacious and the AC worked well. The pool was warm, the food was delicious, and the restaurant service was great. Staff were exceptionally polite, welcomed me with a drink at check-in, and occasionally offered complimentary drinks during my stay. The resort felt personal and well cared for rather than commercial. That attention extended from the front desk and restaurant to housekeeping and maintenance. Riza the General Manager quickly answered my many emails and questions and explained everything I wanted to know. My instructor Abol took great care of me during the dives. I was the only person doing certification then, and he guided me comfortably through each step with a lot of knowledge and charm. The crew had ginger tea, hot towels, and plenty of cold water ready whenever needed, wherever we were. I'd warmly recommend the resort to anyone hoping to experience Puerto Galera and White Beach above and below the water. I'll be back when my schedule allows.
