Mendelluke Suites

One of my favorite places to stay in Puerto Galera. The beach is less than a minute away, and there are lots of food options nearby. Our room was huge, new, and very clean, tucked behind Marion Roo’s restaurant. Ate Mae was so kind and accommodating, and we couldn't hear the loud outdoor noise once inside the room.

The free breakfast was really good, and the third-floor deluxe room was spacious enough for two queen beds. The towels were clean and white, the bed was comfortable and firm, and the pillows were fluffy and pretty fat. The bathroom was okay, with hot water and what I guess was enough pressure, though there was no exhaust fan or bidet. It could get warm if someone else was using it. There was no garbage bin in the room, just a tiny one in the bathroom. The many cats were a problem for me. I love animals, but if they keep that many cats, they should clean up their poop and urine. I could smell them even when I couldn't see them. The room also stank whenever the AC was on, as if the plumbing smell was coming through, which was really unpleasant. The caretaker seemed tired and not enthusiastic when we arrived after 2pm. The location is behind a beachfront restaurant, and you walk through it to reach the room. I wouldn't recommend the place until they improve the facilities.

A five-star stay, with a clean room in a very quiet spot right across from White Beach. The staff were amazing, and I’ll definitely book again. Thanks for the birthday decor surprise.

The cleanliness stood out compared with the other places we stayed in PG, and this could be a great place with some work on the water system. Whenever anyone used water elsewhere or flushed the toilet, the pipes made a lot of noise. You can also hear plates and utensils clanking in the restaurant next door in the morning. The Wi-Fi didn't work properly for me either.
