Verde View Villas

We had a great room, large and clean, with a balcony, and the food was amazing. The staff were wonderful, and I was lucky to meet the owner, who was so kind. Snorkeling at the private beach was better than at the main beaches. I highly recommend this place.

The place is quiet and away from the noise in Sabang. Rooms are clean, and they thoughtfully provide an umbrella and flashlight. Breakfast is free and excellent, with just the right amount and the kind of choices returning Filipinos would want. The staff are so friendly, and Manager Ann is full of useful information and options.

We only stayed one night, but had everything we needed: a refreshing pool, a lovely snorkeling spot, and a magical sunset up on the hill. I'm from Indonesia, and the sunset colors here looked different from home, really beautiful. The villa sits a bit high on the hill. At first I was sad it was far from town, but it turned out to be worth it. There's a private beach, calm and perfect for morning snorkeling, and you can watch the sunset in the afternoon. Our room was really spacious, with a big balcony of our own. The pool was clean and great, and the staff were super friendly. Bring cash, though, since they require a 3,000-peso deposit. Luckily we had enough. There's an old lighthouse close to the accommodation at the end of the island, which was superb. If you don't rent a bike, there's a free shuttle tuck tuck to Sabang beach twice a day. They also have a restaurant, but we didn't get to try it.

We had a wonderful time at Verde View. Rochelle and the whole staff were so helpful, and we really appreciated the free shuttle to Sabang. Monkey Bay had great views and snorkeling, though the walk back up the hill was a bit of a trek. Thanks again to everyone.
