I wouldn't recommend Cherry’s Courtyard. Getting around was inconvenient: it's far from the city center, and there weren't restaurants or convenience stores nearby. The building also seemed old and run-down. I was the only guest while I was there, which made the stay feel uncomfortable and a little creepy. Wi-Fi was listed as free, but there wasn't any. In the morning, a brownout left us without water and electricity, and staff offered very little help. I wouldn't have known what was going on if I hadn't asked. The lobby didn't feel sanitary either, with stray dogs and cats inside. I didn't get the comfort, cleanliness, or convenience I paid for, and it wasn't worth the price. I'd look for somewhere more reliable, better maintained, and closer to the city.

I booked a room on the third floor, but they gave me two rooms on the first floor instead, at no extra cost. They were expecting me when I arrived, which was a pleasant surprise after a long day when I just needed to rest. The staff were attentive, friendly, and accommodating, and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was served in the morning. It's close to both the city and the airport, and I'd definitely recommend staying here.

The Wi-Fi was strong, though the water pressure was weak, as it is at most places on the island. Breakfast was served, and the place was clean with a pool. Good value for money. It's a little off the beaten path, but getting into town is quick and easy. The University and City Hall are nearby, so it's easy to find. After checking us in, the kind, friendly staff, who looked underage and a bit bemused, gave us free water. They were also quick to answer our questions about the area.
