The view from the third and fourth floor balconies was beautiful, and the setting was lovely. Service was good, and the towels and presentation were great, though there were no washcloths, which seems common in the Philippines. The bedding was old and soiled. The shower had strong pressure, but the water never got hot or even warm.

Waking up to birds chirping made the restful stay complete. The ambience was amazing, and the staff were really friendly and went out of their way to help. Excellent service.

The WiFi was either unavailable for several days or very slow, and the hotel is about a 40-minute walk from the main town. Jollybee and a Robinsons mall are a little farther away. You can flag down a trike for an easy 10-minute ride to town and the mall. The hotel was clean, breakfast was free, the air conditioning was nice and cold, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was good and the hotel was very nice, though it's outside downtown Puerto Princesa. Trike drivers may ask tourists as much as 300 pesos to go that far. Don't pay more than 50.

The rooms are good, and the food is decent. The location isn't ideal, though, and you'll need to find autos to get anywhere.
