If you’re traveling solo for a night or two and watching your budget, the low-budget room could work. Mine had an electric fan, a semi-single bed, and a long table, and the room itself was okay. The staff were friendly to me. I wasn’t happy with the shared CR and shower, though, and I think those need improvement. Water in the shared facilities and electricity were interrupted around midnight. If you’re particular about comfort, I wouldn’t recommend that room; this two-star hotel has more decent rooms available.

The location is perfect, right in the ❤️ of Puerto Princesa city, with everything very close and within walking distance. I got great, friendly service at this budget hotel, especially from the new manager of Royal Duchess pension. Thank u, see u soonest, may God bless u 😀❤️✈️👀👌🇵🇭👍

Honestly, this is one of the worst places I’ve stayed. The rooms feel creepy and scary, like you might get murdered at night, and they look like they could have lots of cockroaches crawling around. Seeing the room will definitely give you chills.

It’s affordable, clean, and has a good breakfast. The owner and staff were very accommodating, too. The location is great, near everything you might need to visit while running errands in puerto prinsesa. We’ll definitely come back. It’s our new second home when we’re in PPC.

Simple, clean, neat, and comfortable, with a wide breakfast selection for 100 php. It’s a great budget stay, with a 250 php fan room at the lowest or an 850 aircon room with its own bath. The power went out at midnight, and a large noisy generator spoiled the rest of the night. Still, it was reassuring that they try to keep you comfortable when the power goes off.
