RedDoorz Premium @ Gabinete Road Palawan

The neighborhood felt friendly, with nearby sari stores and food stands, and a simple marine beach within walking distance. There's also an INC locale about 5 minutes away. A tricycle was available right outside the hotel. Rovi resort hotel was clean and well organized, with friendly staff and simple food you could order. The bathroom was super awesome, and there was a fridge for everyone plus hot and cold drinking water. I also liked the Google TV for watching Netflix with snacks at night. Free WiFi, and a nice balcony and sofa area outside room 200. It seems the other rooms have their own balconies too. My only missing thing was a big mirror in the room, since there was only a small one in the bathroom. I booked through the RedDoorz app and got a great price deal. If I visit again, I’ll definitely book. Thanks for the great service and staff!

We keep coming back here when we need a night or two in Puerto Princesa. It's handy that the hotel is right by the roadside, with lots of tricycles nearby, and Backride Palawan can also get you a ride. It's a bit far from the city center, so a car or motorbike of your own helps. Agoda worked out cheaper for us than the walk-in rate.

It's decent value for a one-night stay, and both the room and bathroom were clean. Getting around is the main drawback since it's far from the center. There are some tricycles, but you'll be better off with transport of your own. You can rent a scooter from the hotel. The facilities are starting to look old and don't seem well maintained. The pool didn't appeal much to us, so we didn't try it.

The location is really bad and the place is unkempt. The pool water was completely green, and swimming in it could make you very sick. It might be fine for one night during a transfer, but never book it for a longer stay, or you could get sick. It's a big scam!
