With limited parking, about three or four cars, busy periods could be a problem. Still, it’s a practical, comfortable option at a reasonable price if you just need somewhere to stay. The hotel is maintained well and the basic rooms are clean. It’s easy to get around from here, since it’s across from The Landmark (Trinoma) and close to SM City North EDSA, which is handy for travelers coming from nearby cities.
I’ve generally liked hop-inn hotels because they’re affordable and there are locations everywhere, but this branch gave me a rough stay when I checked in last December 2025. The room’s Wi-Fi didn’t work, and there wasn’t a solution offered. On top of that, neither of the two major networks had signal in my room, so even mobile data was out. When I asked to move somewhere with better reception, the staff member seemed out of it. The exchange went something like this: “There's no Wi-Fi in my room.” “There's no Wi-Fi in the other rooms either.” “Oh. So what can we do?” “That's up to you.” “???????????????????” *awkward silence* “There's no Smart or Globe signal either.” “Try turning your phone off and on.” 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ *another moment of silence* “Could I be moved to another room?” “Oh, no.” I just said okay, and he walked off. I didn’t want to argue with hotel staff, lol. Maybe we were all just having a bad day. I’m still grateful to the hop-inn hotel staff for keeping things clean and safe for guests. Hope things go better for everyone next time. 🙏
I've stayed at Hop inn in different locations since 2022, and they haven't let me down. This North EDSA budget hotel is clean and reliable, with helpful staff and good customer service. It’s walkable to SM and Trinoma and easy to reach by public transport. There’s also a 7-eleven with an ATM beside reception. The room was smaller than the Morato branch, but the bed and bedding were so comfortable that I slept well every time. The Daikin inverter AC worked well; the TV was basic, and there was no room phone. They provide clean towels, a toilet paper roll, and hair and body wash, but no hygiene kit. It’s eco-friendly, with a water dispenser on each floor instead of plastic water bottles.
Review as of November 2025 Despite being along EDSA, it was quiet, and I’d consider coming back. Getting here is easy by bus, cab, or from MRT North Avenue Station, and there’s a 7-11 on the ground floor by the entrance. The rate wasn’t too high, though I think they could provide more than the free water from the corridor dispenser, soap, and shampoo. There were no slippers, toothpaste, or toothbrush. The room was clean and had AC, a water heater, clean towels, a comforter, glasses, a safe, and a TV. One thing to watch for: the restroom floor was cold, and its tiles felt slippery even when dry.
I spent eight days here on a business trip, and it was a very convenient base in Manila. A train station is just a three-minute walk to the right, while the mall across the street is two minutes away. The hotel is clean, and there’s a 7/11 mini-store in the lobby where you can get food anytime. Staff from reception to housekeeping were all lovely and friendly. There are hot and cold water dispensers in the elevator.
